Staff Biographies
The Holly, Woods, and Vines, staff is committed to service. We understand gardening, and more importantly, we understand gardeners and their needs. That’s why we stock the highest quality plants, trees, shrubs, garden supplies and tools, and unique garden accents.
Jim has served as Holly, Woods, and Vines Garden Center Manager for seven years. He came to us after dedicating 27 years with the United States Botanic Garden, Washington, D.C. His area of expertise are tropical plants and orchids.
Margie, our Perennial Specialist, grew up on a truck farm in Pennsylvania and has played in dirt all her life. In fact, she has a Bachelors degree in Geology and a Masters Degree in Environmental Education. A walk through the perennial plants section of our store will reflect her love for plants.
Jeff is our Landscape Supervisor. He specializes in landscape design, plant, tree, & shrub installation, and horticultural trouble shooting. Over 10 years experience has honed Jeff’s eye for natural aesthetics.
Kathryn is Holly, Woods, and Vines, Accounts Manager. But she is very rarely at her desk. Making sure things run smoothly and everything is in its place, she surveys the store frequently and continually provides customers with friendly service. With 20 years of customer service experience, 7 years in retail, if Kathryn doesn’t have the answer, she is sure to direct you to the person who does.
